Bullet The Blue Sky delivers an incredible U2 tribute experience, capturing the raw energy, spiritual intensity, and musical innovation that made U2 one of rock's most influential bands. Based in Denver Colorado, this four-piece ensemble recreates the unmistakable sound, visuals and electrifying stage presence that U2 fans have come to love over four decades.

The Experience

From the minimalist post-punk sounds of early U2 to their stadium-filling anthems, Bullet The Blue Sky meticulously recreates the band's signature sound. With a 14 ft wide video wall and using period-correct wardrobe, instruments and effects, the group delivers an authentic sonic and visual experience that will transport audiences back to U2's most memorable concerts.

How We Started

Nikki made a post online that said “Bono looking for The Edge”. Ted was formerly the founding guitar player for Under A Blood Red Sky, one of the first well known tribute acts in the western US. It was a natural fit to use that experience to create something new. Pete also replied to the post “Hey if you also need a bass player…” Nikki had played with Jamie before and remembered him as the perfect “Larry” style drummer which completed the band.

Technical Requirements

Stage dimensions: Minimum 24' x 16'
Sound system requirements: Professional PA system capable of 110db SPL
Lighting: Full professional stage lighting with fog machine capability
Setup time: 60 minutes for the video wall and 60 minutes for the backline
Performance duration: Two 60-minute sets or one 100-minute set (can vary depending on the show)
